Fellowship

There is nothing like meat to bring men together.  The brisket was helpless as a chicken in a river with pirahnas.  It was so good. I shared the burnt ends with Nate and Jason briefed us on the 'tender vs. bark'  debate.  After that we enjoyed Mary's brownies and Blue Bell ice cream.  The combination forced our collective pancreas' to grown.  It was a great dinner.  We followed it with discussions both deep and shallow across a variety of subjects.  The topics included; politcs, M22 rock crusher transmissions, how much R12 should be hoarded and 'are the body lines on this corvette sharp enough or too sharp?'.  Most suprisingly I learned that Nate and I came very close to being business partners in 2007, who knew?  Afterwards we agreed to meet at zero seven thirty hours (we are back on military time),for the 30 min trip to Grace.

We retired to the Prevost, were the discussions continued.  I think we are all sharing an anxious awe for for what is ahead of us today.  We love and mis you all so very much.  You are dear to each of us and we are always so thankful for your love.

  1. The conversation sounds scintillating! And it looks like Jason got a prime, easy to pull into spot! Looking forward to updates today. Take lots of pictures. I should have let you borrow my zoom lens so you could sit in the pew and get close ups of John MacArthur's nose hair (if you wanted).
