LA Freeways

Once we crossed over into California we (Jason) fought the rain all the way into LA County.

One odd thing.  In Banning we were driving in the center lane in order to avoid the slow downs from the off ramps.  Outside the left side of the Prevost we heard a voice.  I was startled and it took a moment to figure out what was happening.  Turns out a highway patrolman was on his PA informing us to move to the far right lane.  In California if you are towing you must be in that lane.  Mark was sure this had nothing to do with our Texas license plates.

The rest of the way was easy in terms of traffic.  But teeth rattling term of road smoothness.  The staccato rhythm was not helpful to a less stressful navigation for Jason; Boom, rattle-rattle, boom, rattle-rattle.

 Then we made it!

Lammy, Cornelius and Panther ran outside and were frolicking.  So glad to be outside.

We got the car unhitched and Lammy jumped in the front seat.  Silly Lammy!

The car was covered with an unacceptable level of dust and road grime we washed the windows and finished prepping the car for LA traffic in the morning.

About this time Jason's dad arrived, time to break out the brisket and ribs.

After getting all systems setup, we retreated  to the Prevost and watched Justin Peter's presentation from Stange Fire.

Getting anxious now.  Planning for the timing to arrive in the morning and the sessions to attend.  We love all of you, with all we have and cherish your support in getting us here.
